ما ذاتُ نفعٍ وغَنَاء عظيم

لها حديثٌ في الزّمان القديم

It is of immense benefit and joy

It has a narrative from ancient times

أوحَى بها الله إلى عبده

فحبّذا فعلُ الرسول الكريم

God revealed it to His servant

So the act of the noble Messenger is praised

وعابها فيما مضى صالحٌ

حسبُكَ ما نصَّ الكتابُ الحكيم

Salih disapproved it in the past

It suffices what the Wise Book has stated

وفي كتابِ الله تردادها

فاقرأ تجده في قضايا الكليم

Its repetition is in God's Book

Read and you will find it in the stories of the Determined

إن أنتَ صحَّفتَ اسمها تلقَه

مَحَلَّ أنسٍ أو بلاءٍ مُقيم

If you misspell its name, receive it

In a place of intimacy or enduring trial

أو هو فعلٌ لكَ فيما مضى

لكن إذا أبرأتَ داء السقيم

Or it is an act for you from the past

But if you heal the sick

فهاكها قد لاحَ برهانه

مُبيَّناً لكلِّ فكرٍ سليم

Clarified for every sound thought
