1. يا قادماً عَمَّت الدنيا بشائرُهُ

    أهلاً بمقدَمِكَ الميمونِ طائِرُهُ

    O you who come, good tidings of you have spread through the world

    Welcome to you, auspicious is your blessed arrival

  2. ومُرحَبَّا بك من عيدٍ وفي جَذَلٍ

    أبدى بكَ البشرَ باديهُ وحاضرُهُ

    Greetings on this feast day and time of joy

    Through you, humankind in prosperity and joy are manifest

  3. قدِمتَ فالخلق في نُعمى وفي جَذَلٍ

    أبدى بكَ البشرَ باديهُ وحاضرُهُ

    You arrived, and creation is in blessings and joy

    Through you, humankind in prosperity and joy are manifest

  4. والأرضُ قد لبِسَت أثوابَ سُندُسِها

    والروضُ قد بَسَمت منه أزاهرُهُ

    The earth has worn its garments of brocade

    And the meadow has smiled with its flowers

  5. حاكَت يَدُ الغيث في ساحاته حُلَلاً

    لمّا سقاها دِراكاً منه باكرُهُ

    The rain's hand embroidered gowns across its plains

    When it quenched them with its early downpour

  6. فلاحَ فيها مِنَ الأنوارِ باهرها

    وفاح فيها من النُّوَّار عاطِرُهُ

    Brilliant lights then shone forth

    And aromatic fragrances spread

  7. وقام فيها خَطيب الطّيرِ مرتجِلاً

    والزَّهر قد رصِّعت منه منابِرُهُ

    The birds' orator arose to recite extemporaneously

    As the flowers adorned his pulpits

  8. مَوشِيُّ ثَوبٍ طواه الدَّهرُ آوِنَةً

    فها هو اليوم للأبصار ناشرُهُ

    A cloak the ages had folded away

    Is now spread before all eyes

  9. فالغصن من نَشوة يَثنِي مَعاطِفه

    والطيرُ مِن طَربٍ تشدو مَزاهرُهُ

    The branch in elation sways its mantle

    The birds in rapture trill their flowers

  10. وللكِمام انشقاق عن أزاهرِها

    كما بَدَت لك من خِلٍّ ضمائرُهُ

    The bud's slits reveal its blossoms

    As its secrets appeared to you from the split calyx
