مَن كعليّ ذي الشجاعة والرّضا
لإصراخ مَذعورٍ وإيواء مطرودِ
Who is like Ali, the valiant and content
To the screams of one terrified and banished in lament
ومَن كعليّ ذي السماحة والنَّدَى
لإسباغِ إنعام وإنجاز موعودِ
Who is like Ali, the tolerant and wise
In bestowing favor and fulfilling a promise in kind
ومَن كعليّ ذي الرجاحة والنُّهَى
لإِفصاح إشكالٍ وإدراك مقصودِ
Who is like Ali, the judicious and guided
In elucidating confusion and grasping meaning defined
ومَن كعليّ للوزارة قائماً
عليها بتصويبٍ عليها وتَصعِيدِ
Who is like Ali, administering rule
With reform and advancement, the realm to refine
ومَن كعليّ للإدارة سَالِكاً
لها نَهجَ تليين مَشُوبٍ بتشديدِ
Who is like Ali, governance undertaking
With gentleness, though firmness, the path to outline
ومَن كعليّ للسياسة منفذاً
أوامر تَنفيدٍ وأحكام تَوطيدِ
Who is like Ali, policy executing
Through enforcing orders and laws to enshrine
ومَن كعلي في رضا الله حاكماً
بإيجاد معدوم وإعدامِ مَوجُودِ
Who is like Ali, by God's wish decreeing
By initiating the non-existent and nullifying all designed
ومَن كعليِّ واصلِ الرّحم التي
تَمُتُّ بتقريبٍ لَه أو بِتَبعِيدِ
Who is like Ali, kinship ties sustaining
Through drawing them near or pushing them to recline
