Truly the bright full moon has set

Its shining teeth illuminated east and west

Truly we've lost the exemplar, the knowledge that

Nourished and nurtured us, healing our every ill

Truly we've lost our succor and confidant

Who answered when we called in time of need

Truly we've lost an ocean of wisdom

That overflowed on us, moist pearls of knowledge
