1. يا سادَتِي إنّ النّدى

    أَقربُ مغروسٍ جنى

    O my masters, verily the dew

    Is the closest planted fruit

  2. تَغرُسُه في لحظةٍ

    وقبلَ أُخرى يُجتَنى

    He plants it in an instant

    And before another it is picked

  3. ما المرءُ إلّا ذِكرُه

    فَخلِّدُوا حُسنَ الثَّنا

    A man is naught but his legacy

    So immortalize beautiful praise

  4. ولقّنُوا زُرزورَكم

    شُكركمُ لِيَلقَنا

    And teach your nightingales

    To thank those who taught them

  5. وزَوِّدُوا ضَيفَكُمُ

    ذِكراً جَميلا حَسَنا

    And provide your guest

    With beautiful splendid memories

  6. وأَنطِقُوهُ بالَّتي

    في نَشرها نَيلُ المُنى

    And make him speak of those

    Whose diffusion brings wishes come true

  7. تُخرسُ عنكم أَلسُنا

    لُدّاً وتُذكي أَلسُنا

    That would silence our sharp tongues

    And make our tongues sincere

  8. إنّ لكم في جُؤجؤي

    حبّاً وحُبّاً أوطنا

    In my passionate love for you all

    There is tender affection and patriotism

  9. أنا الّذي أشدُو بِكم

    في كُلّ أُفقٍ مُعلِنا

    It is I who lauds you

    Announcing in every horizon

  10. ورُبَّما حدّثتكُم

    عَن عَرفاتٍ ومِنى

    And maybe I told you

    Of Arafat and Mina

  11. وطُفت بالبيتِ الذي

    طُهِّرَ من كُلّ خَنا

    And I toured the House that

    Was cleansed of all sins

  12. مُقتَنِياً من وُدّكم

    أَنفَس عِلقٍ يُقتَنى

    Getting from your affection

    The most precious souls to be had

  13. وداعياً جَهدي لكم

    دونَ فُتورٍ أو وَنى

    Calling my efforts for you all

    Without fatigue or lassitude

  14. ويرحَمُ اللَه أمرأ

    على دُعائي أَمّنا

    And may God have mercy upon

    A man who said "Amen" to my prayer
