May God make the land of Ibn Qadir needless
May Allah suffice us, far from the land of Ibn Qadir,
Of a pouring rain from the strings of a rabab,
With a pouring rain from dark, heavy clouds,
Clouds which the wind stirs above their trains,
A torrent over whose falling streams the wind blows,
Getting a share of the twists of Ukoom.
Taking its portion from the winding dunes.
