وَبَعضُ رِجاءِ المَرءِ ما لَيسَ نائِلاً

غَناءً وَبَعضُ اليأَسِ أَعفى وأَروَحُ

And some of a man's hope brings no gain,

While some despair is more peaceful and restful.
