يا مسكن اللَه العلي وعرشه ال

سامي الذي قد شاء فيه يمكث

O dweller of God's sublime abode

His lofty throne which He chose to inhabit

فاختصه بفضائلٍ سريةٍ

لما أراد به يحل ويبعث

Singling it out with hidden virtues

For what He wanted to descend and send forth in it

غيثي أثيماً تائباً في ناكثٍ

فاللَه يغض من يتوب وينكث

My rain, remorseful and repentant, on fertile land

For God overlooks whoever repents and reneges
