قد مجد اللَه مريمْ أمَّه شرفاً

مجداً يساوي به ناسوتَه الأمجدْ

God has glorified Mary, His mother

With a glory equal to His glorious incarnation

إن كان أوجدَهُ منها بقدرته

فالآن يوجدُها مع ذلك الموجَدْ

If He created Him from her by His power

Now He creates her with the One created

فذا صوابٌ وحق الأم حيث لها

على ابنها الحقُّ شرعاً معه تَتْمَجَّدْ

So it is right and the mother's right that she

By law has a right over her Son with whom she is glorified
