إذا ما رأينا آدماً وفعِالَه

كما شاء أمرُ اللَه من أوَّل الدُّنا

When we saw Adam and his deeds

As Allah had willed from the beginning of time

فلا نُتْهِمَنْهُ قائلين لعَقده

وتزويجِه إبنيه بنتيه بالخنا

Let us not blame him, saying of his pact

And marrying his sons to his daughters in sin

علمنا بأن الناس من أصلِ فاسدٍ

فهذا مقالٌ يَقتضي الآن شرعنا

We know that people originate from a corrupted source

So this saying now requires our law

فيكذب من يهجو الأنام بقوله

وإن جميعَ الخلق من عُنصر الزنا

It is a lie when one slanders people saying

That all creation is from the essence of adultery

ألم تر رب الشرع في كل فترةٍ

له سننٌ تقضي قضاءً مبيَّنا

Did you not see the Lord of Law in every period

He has norms that judge with a clear decree

إذا كان من سنَّ الشريعةَ واحداً

هو اللَه كان الحق في الكل بَيِّنا

If the One who legislated the Law is Allah

The truth in all would be evident and pristine
