Faith and true belief reveal to us

That man alone of creatures has a mind

Trust not in him who says "I speak and reason"

Yet lacks in faith and conscience, being blind

A parrot speaks, but is no sage

The rest of it is form and fantasy combined

So though the parrot speaks, it lacks a rational mind

Nor can its shape make it a human kind

This is the premise of its inner nature

Whose conclusion, praise to God, is animal-kind

Reverse it, and you'll find the inverse is true

The conclusion, God knows best, is Satan's kind
