وارحمتاه لميت في دينه

متقلباً عنه بنار المطهرِ

Have mercy on one dead in his religion

Turning from it to the purifying fire

يرجو الوفاءَ وفاءَ دين حياته

عما جنى من كل فعلٍ منكر

Hoping for the loyalty of the faith of his life

From all he reaped of each abhorrent act

هل ترحموني بعد ربي أنتمُ

يا أصدقايَ فإنني لم أكفر

Will you have mercy on me after my Lord you

O my friends though I did not disbelieve

غُفرت ذنوبي فاتقيتُ جهنماً

لكن عقابي بعدَه لم يُغفَر

My sins are forgiven so I avoided hell

But my punishment after is not yet forgiven

إلا بأسرار الإله ومريمٍ

لا يُحرَمُ العطشان ماءَ العنصر

Except by the secrets of God and Mary

The thirsty is not deprived the water of life
