1. توقَّ يا راهباً خُبثاً تُضاعِفُهُ

    بلذَّةٍ قد هوى في عُمقِها الأُمَمُ

    Refrain, O wicked monk, from doubling

    The pleasure which nations have sunk into its depths

  2. إن اليهود رُمُوا بالخبث فانهدموا

    ولذَّةً آدمٌ زلت به القدمُ

    Indeed the Jews were ruined by their wickedness

    And for a pleasure, Adam stumbled and slipped

  3. فالشرُّ إبنُهُما فاحذر لأنهما

    أصلُ الشرور وهاتانِ لها عَلَمُ

    So evil is their child, so beware

    For they are the root of evils and these two are its emblems
