صار الإلهُ بحبه متأنساً

من مريم فهي الرجا والبابُ

God became intimate through His love

Of Mary, for she is hope and the door

ليخلص الخاطي الأسير بموته

ويؤمه الإنسان وهو تراب

To save the sinful prisoner through His death

And inspire humanity though it's dust
