فُقتِ عفافَ الوالدات من الورى

O mother of a child who came for our salvation

You exceeded the chastity of mothers in creation

كم بين مولودٍ أتى متدنساً

نفساً ومولودٍ أتانا أطهرا

What a difference between a child who came defiled

In spirit and a child who came to us more pure

يَحتاج عتقاً ذاك من آثامه

حقّاً وهذا يعتق المستأسرا

The former needs ransom from his sins

In truth, and the latter frees the captive
