كُلِّلَتْ بالمجد بِكرٌ قد غدت

في مصاف الرسْل نوراً وسلاما

A maiden crowned with glory rose

Among the ranks of messengers, light and peace.

خُصِّصت بالمجد حقّاً وسمت

وسمت يا صاح حقّاً أن تُساما

Truly distinguished with glory was she named,

Yes, friend, truly named sublime.

فرح الآبُ بفوز ابنته

وحباها الفخر إرثاً ومقاما

The Father rejoiced in his daughter's triumph,

Bestowing on her glory and station as inheritance.

فرح الإبنُ بعليا أُمِّه

مذ رآها بلغت منه مراما

The Son rejoiced in his exalted Mother

Since he saw she had attained her hopes.

فرح الروحُ المعزّي مُذ رأى

عِرسَه الأملاكُ تهديها السلاما

The Comforting Spirit rejoiced since he saw

His bride greeted by angels with peace.
