بأَبي فَمٌ شَهِدَ الضَّميرُ لَهُ
قَبْلَ المَذَاقِ بأنّهُ عَذْبُ
By whom I see, a mouth whose sweetness felt
The conscience, ere the taste, confess and tell,
كَشَهادَتي للّهِ خالِصَةً
قبلَ العِيَانِ بأنّهُ رَبُّ
As I do God from all corruption free
Confess and feel before I see or see.
