مَنْ نامَ لَمْ يَدْرِ طالَ اللّيلُ أَمْ قَصُرا

لا يعرفُ اللّيلَ إلاَّ عاشِقٌ سَهرا

The one who slept does not know if the night was long or short

None knows the night except a lover kept awake
