جميعي حينَ أذكركُم شجونُ

Your company is the life of my soul

And your painful absence is death itself

أرى الأشواقَ تجذبني اليكم

وسائِقُها الصَّبابةُ والحنينُ

I see yearnings pull me towards you

Led by passion and longing

بذلتُ لكم دموعَ العينِ لكن

هواكم في حُشاشتي المصونُ

I shed tears of the eye for you

Yet my love for you is guarded within

يعزُّ عليَّ بعدكمُ ولكن

مَماتي في محبَّتكم يهونُ

I grieve when you're away

Yet dying in your love is bliss

أحبَّتنا أذبتم بالتنائي

فؤاديَ فهو مكتئبٌ حزينُ

And my patience without you may not be
