A happy visitor came,
While the night spread its cold around.
It appeared, so I said the full moon rises,
It drew near, so I said the bird twitters.
Light shone on his cheeks,
So the fire of my passion was kindled by his incense.
He pierced my heart with love,
With his shaking spear from his height.
And he drew his sword from his eyelids,
So it cut through my insides in its sheath.
A wonder, a sword tied to his eyelid,
The wound of my heart by the keenness of its edge.
A sleepy eyelid passed the night jesting,
My watchful eyes gain seriousness in its daze.
A night that gave me pleasure through him,
Mixing my affection with his love.
He was generous with the truth after
He was stingy with the phantom of dreams.
So I stay awake and the night is shortened
By my vigil on his chest.
The sight of a fawn came generously close,
With all I had wished for in its distance.
It makes me drink coffee from its saliva
Poured cold in its honey.
I swooned from joy over him,
The swoon of a captive just freed from his chains.
So tears flowed passionately as
Beauty's water froze on his cheek.
He cried over my pain out of mercy,
When harshness softens in intensity.
As if the tears on his cheek
Were drops of dew falling on roses.
His scattered tears from his braids
And his strung lips in his necklace.
If time brings me its like again
I will count it from time itself.
The rain clouds poured you a cup
Rhythmically, from its thunder.
