كَريمٌ إِذا ما جِئتَ طالِبَ فَضلِهِ
حَباكَ بِما تَحوي عَلَيهِ أَنامِلُه
Noble when you come seeking his favor
He welcomes you with all that his palms contain
فَلَو لَم يَكُن في كَفِّهِ غَيرُ روحِهِ
لَجادَ بِها فَليَتَّقِ اللَّهَ سائِلُه
For if he had naught but his spirit in his palm
He would give it. So let his asker beware of God.
وَما بعثت في العالَمينَ فَضيلَةٌ
مِنَ المَجدِ إِلّا مَجدُهُ وَفَضائِلُه
No virtue of glory was sent into the two worlds
Save his glory and his virtues.
