أَما تَقرَّرَ أَنّا

فَلِم تَأَخَّرتَ عَنّا

Have you not resolved that we

Why then did you delay us

وَلَم يَكُن لَكَ عُذرٌ

وَلو يَكونُ عَلِمنا

And you had no excuse

Even if we had known

وَما الَّذي كانَ حَتّى

حَلَلتَ ما قَد عَقَدنا

And what was it that

You undid what we had bound

فَلا تَلُمنا فَإِنّا

قُلنا وَقُلنا وَقُلنا

So do not blame us for we

Said and said and said

وَقَد أَتَيناكَ زَحفاً

وَأَنتَ تَهرُبُ مِنّا

And we came crawling to you

While you fled from us

وَاِنظُر لِنَفسِكَ فيما

قَد كانَ مِنكَ وَدَعنا

And look to yourself in what

Had come from you, and leave us
