يَلُومُنِي فِي لِحاظِ الطَّرْفِ غَيْرُكُمُ
والذَّنْبُ ذَنْبُكَ إذا أَغْرَيْتَ سقْيَكَ بي
You blame me for glancing at others,
Yet the fault is yours when you intoxicate me with your love.
يا مَنْ يُحَمِّلُ ذَنْبَ الرَّاحِ شَارِبَهَا
أَقْبِلْ بِوَجْهِ الرَّضا فِي سَاعَةِ الْغَضَبِ
O you who blame the wind for the swaying of the drunkard,
Come with a smiling face in this hour of anger.
