And a night when darkness seemed to drift with its full moon,
A night with a moon so bright, it's as if lamps illuminate its brightness
I balanced my revelry in it with one tender and well-proportioned,
I steered my desire, keeping moderation in mind
And wine chilled by the north wind, its handmaids stealing in through it,
And a heavily cloaked one whose servants draped it over her
Thus stirring up means to undo my repentances.
So she deceived me with my remorse and questions prone to negation
Gazelles whose command over the soul is binding,
A gazelle within my soul, a definite matter
And grief, brazen in oppression, in expansion and contraction.
And sadness, the flow of tyranny in expansion and grip
