Did you not see me, though man is his mother's son,

When the crooked one comes not to be made straight,

I fold my wings from the sight of my father after

I blamed him, though blame for me was not right,

And I said to him when we met, and he said to me

Words of censure, a wanton transgressor,

Do you blame me if I sell you the same as

What you sold me for? Yet the first seller is more unjust.

There is no true love in one without fidelity

Or covenant, when the companion is absent.
