تَوَضَّحنَ في عَلياءِ قَفرٍ كَأَنَّها

مَهارِقُ فَلّوجٍ يُعارِضنَ تالِيا

In the highest part of a barren desert they were revealed

Like the summits of rolling dunes lined up in rows
