1. صَاحِ هَاتِ العُقارَ حَمْراءَ كالنَّا

    رِ وَدَعْني مِمَّا يَقُولُ العَذُولُ

    O companion, bring the red wine like fire

    And leave me be from what the censurers say

  2. مَا تَرى اللَّيْلَ كَيْفَ قَدْ غَلَبَ الصُّبْ

    حَ وَقَدْ أَقْبَلَ النَّسِيمُ العَلِيلُ

    Don't you see how night has overcome dawn

    And the languid breeze has begun to blow

  3. وَكأَنَّ النُّجُومَ وَالبَدْرَ أَزْها

    رُ رِياضٍ في وَسْطِها قِنْدِيلُ

    It's as if the stars and moon are flowers

    In a garden with a lamp in its midst
