Rise, O youth, to the wine,
Rise and pour me a cup,
For the dawn steals away the gloom
And the moon smiles in the darkness.
Rise and give me the sparkling red wine,
For the flash of clouds has passed.
Hurry to drink the fermented brew,
Before the arrival of the doves.
And seize the moments of unawareness
From a time that wrongs the generous.
