تَدَارَكَهُ عَلَى أَسَفٍ
تَأَسُّفُهُ عَلَى دَرَكِهْ
He consoled him for a regret
His regret for catching up with him
وَكَانَ الفَجْرُ مُبْيَضّاً
غُدافُ اللَّيْلِ مِنْ شَرَكِهْ
And dawn was whitening
The darkness of night receded
