اِشْرَبْ عَلى وَرْدَيْنِ قَدْ

وُصِلا بِعَيْشٍ مُسْتَجَدِّ

Drink from two rose gardens that

Have been connected with a new life

وَرْدِ الرِّياضِ ونزهَةُ ال

أَلْحاظِ فيهِ وَوَرْدِ خَدِّ

The garden's roses and the delight of the

Glances in it, and the rose of the cheek

واصِلْهُما مِن قَبلِ أَنْ

يَرْميكَ وَصْلُهُما بِصَدِّ

Connect them before

Their connection casts you with estrangement

إِنّي أَرى الأَيامَ تُنْ

ذِرُنا بِعَيْشٍ مُسْتَرَدِّ

I see the days warning us of a

Life that will be taken back

فاسْتَغْنِمِ العَيْشَ الْمُعا

رَ لَها فما تُوفي بِعَهْدِ

So make the most of the honored life

It will not fulfill its promise to you
