يا ساكِتاً عَن كلامي لا يكلمُني
تِيهاً أَلا كلُّ فعلٍ منكَ مَبْرُورُ
O you who are silent to my words, you do not speak to me
Wandering, truly every deed from you is excused
إِذا سَكَتَّ فمنكَ الدُّرُّ مُنْتَظِمٌ
وإِنْ نَطَقْتَ فمنكَ الدُّرُّ مَنْثورُ
If you are silent, then from you arranged pearls
And if you speak, then from you scattered pearls
