ما أَحسَنَ العَفوَ مِنَ القادِرِ

لا سيَّما عَن غَيرِ ذي ناصِرِ

How excellent is pardon from the mighty one

Especially for one with no defender

إِن كانَ لي ذَنبٌ وَلا ذَنبَ لي

فَما لَهُ غَيرُكَ مِن غافِرِ

If I have a sin or have no sin

Then none but You can forgive

بِحُرمَةِ الوُدِّ الَّذي بَينَنا

لا تُفسِدِ الأَوَّلَ بِالآخِرِ

By the sanctity of affection between us

Do not spoil the first with the last
