وبديع الحسن فردٌ

مالهُ فيه شريكٌ

مالهُ فيه شريكٌ

And the marvel of beauty stands peerless,

with none to rival him in it.

كيف بالشّاوش يُدعى

كيف بالشّاوش يُدعى

وهو في الحسن مليكُ

وهو في الحسن مليكُ

How could he be summoned merely as a witness,

when he is sovereign in beauty?
