يا ذا الّذي حجبت سناهُ طوالعٌ
عن ناظري وعن الحشا لا يحجبُ
O you whose splendor the dawns have veiled
from my sight and the thickets cannot veil,
أبرز لنا لنفوز منك بنظرة
إنّ الطّوالعحين تطلعُ تغربُ
Show yourself to us that we may gain from you
a look, for dawns rise and set.
