رأيتُ مؤذّنا للبدر يحكي

تلوحُ على شمائله السّعاده

I saw a muezzin for the moon relate

Joy shows upon his features radiate

تشهّد في الأذان فمتُّ وجدا

فيا بُشرى متُّ على الشّهادة

In call to prayer witnessed so elate

Good tidings! Died upon the shahadah state
