1. سيفُ الولاية في يمينك قائمُ

    واللهُ من كيد العدى لك عاصمُ

    The sword of authority is in your right hand, standing

    And God protects you from the plots of enemies

  2. والملكُ أطواق عليك جديدةٌ

    لم يُبلها بك عهدُهُ المتقادمُ

    And the king has new collars on you

    Not worn by his ancient covenant with you

  3. والنّصرُ عبدُك والصّوابُ مُقارنٌ

    أبدا لرأيك والسّعودُ خوادمُ

    And victory is your servant, and right accompanies

    Your opinion forever, and the Sauds are your servants

  4. والصّبرُ درعك والمآثرُ لم يكن

    لك والعلا في جمعنّ مُقاسمُ

    And patience is your shield, and glorious deeds were not

    Divided between you and others

  5. لم يبتسم زهرُ الرُّبى بالغيث بل

    ثغرُ الزّمان ببشر وجهك باسمُ

    The smile of springtime did not blossom with rain, but

    The mouth of time smiled with your cheerful face

  6. إن غرّ حلمك زُمرة السّفهاء في

    بعض البلاد فسيفُ عزّك قاصمُ

    If the ignorance of fools angers your forbearance

    In some lands, then the sword of your might smashes

  7. حاشا لمثلك أن يهزُّك حادثٌ

    أتُحرّكُ الجبل الأشمّ نواسمُ

    It is not fit for your like to be shaken by an event

    That stirs the steadfast towering mountains

  8. سلّم بما حكم الإلاهُ بكونه

    فتبيت مُرتاحا وطرفُك نائمُ

    Submit to what God has decreed to be

    So you sleep content and your eyelid closed

  9. فترى المخالف وهو قارع سنّهُ

    أسفا يعضُّ على الأنامل نادمُ

    You will see the dissenter striking his teeth

    Regretfully biting his fingers in remorse

  10. حتّى إذا نزلت سياحة أرضه

    خيلٌ عليها للحُروب ضراغمُ

    Until when your horses descended on his land

    Horses for wars, unruly and intractable

  11. تشكو سُيوفُ الهند من هاماتهم

    كسرا وتأبى الرّفع وهي جوازمُ

    The Indian swords complain of their blades

    Broken, refusing to be raised, though they are bridges

  12. ورُؤُوسُهم مقطوعةٌ وغُروسُهم

    مقلوعةٌ وبها الفؤُوس هودامُ

    And their heads severed and their roots

    Uprooted, and their clubs crashed down on them

  13. ما عُذرُهم في مالك أيّامُه

    بالحلم أعيادُ الورى ومواسمُ

    They have no excuse with a king whose days

    Are feasts of dignity and seasons of forbearance

  14. أعليُّ باي لا برحت على العدى

    بالله منصورا وعزُّك قائمُ

    Highest Bey, you have not ceased to be, by God

    Victorious over enemies, your might standing

  15. ثق أنّ دهرك لا يزالُ مُهنّئا

    وبأنّ مُلكك في البريّة دائمُ

    Be certain that your time continues to congratulate you

    And that your kingdom in the wilderness remains

  16. بمحمّد خير البريّة كلّها

    أبدا ومن هُو للرّسالة خاتمُ

    By Muhammad, best of all creation

    Forever, and the last of the messengers
