O my cloak, you have baffled my medical skill.
O narcissus that caused my sickness
Is there consumption in your body, or lovesickness?
Are you ill in your body or lovesick?
And O wind, you have made me fear you,
O breeze that made me careful of you
Though I used not to fear your blowing.
When I used not to fear your blowing
And when someone asked about the cloak's condition,
When someone asked about the narcissus
I said to him, "The spirit is by my Lord's command."
I said, “The spirit is by my Lord’s command”
