إن كنت أزمعت الرحيل

فإن عزمي في الرحيل

If you intend to leave,

my will is set on leaving too.

أو كنت قاطنة أقمت

وإن منعت لذيد سولى

Or if you stay, I will reside,

even if the night wanderer forbids.

كالنجم يصحب في المسير

ولا يزول لدى النزول

Like a star that accompanies on the journey

and does not disappear at the descent.
