وذي حسد لو حل بي ما يريده

لأصبح مفجوعا بفيض بناني

If he who envies me got what he wanted

He would find himself overwhelmed by my bounty

ولم أعطه جهلا ولكن سحائبي

تعم ذوي الإخلاص والشنآن

It's not out of ignorance that I refuse him

But my clouds rain on the sincere and insincere alike
