قَرَّبَ اللَهُ بِالسَلامِ وَحَيّا

زَكَرِيّا بنَ طَلحَةَ الفَيّاضِ

May Allah bring peace and greet

Zakariya son of Talha Al Fayyad

مَعدِنَ الضَيفِ إِن أَناخوا إِلَيهِ

بَعدَ أَينِ الطَلائِحِ الأَنقاضِ

A mine of hospitality if they alight with him

After where are the ruined encampments

ساهِماتُ العُيونِ خوصٌ رَذايا

قَد بَراها الكَلالُ بَعدَ إِباضِ

The gazes of the eyes are tearful twigs

Worn out by insomnia after disappearance

زادَهُ خالِدُ اِبنُ عَمِّ أَبيهِ

مَنصِباً كانَ في العُلا ذا اِنتِفاضِ

His provision is Khalid the son of the uncle of his father

A position that was lofty with ascent

فَرعُ تَيمٍ مِن تَيمِ مُرَّةَ حَقّاً

قَد قَضى ذاكَ لِاِبنِ طَلحَةَ قاضِ
