How many nights have I stayed up, the flowers of its stars
And the air from the sighs of my passion is wan
I tend the sky and its star wears mourning
Perplexed, its paths are blocked to him
As though it is a sea with surging billows
As though in it there is a drowned swimmer
And you see in it the mother of stars like a stream
In a garden wherein is a melting pleasure
And her daughters a flock of gazelles arriving
Or departing or passing by or drawing near
