هي القناعةُ فالزَمْها تعِشْ ملكاً

لو لم يكنْ منكَ إلاّ راحةُ البدنِ

The contentment, so adhere to it and you will live like a king

If you had nothing left but bodily comfort

وانظُرْ إلى مالكِ الدنيا بأجْمعِها

هل راحَ منها بغيرِ القُطْنِ والكفنِ

And look to the owners of the whole world

Did any depart from it except with cotton and shroud
