قالوا تَشَوَّكَ خدَّاهُ وشاربُهُ

فقلتُ لا تُنْكِروا ما ليسَ بالعَجَبِ

They said his cheeks and lips are thorny

الشَّوكُ في شجراتِ الوردِ مُحْتَمَلٌ

والشَّوكُ لا عَجَبٌ في مُجْتَنى الرُّطَبِ
