وغرَّة الجمالِ

وصورة الكمالِ

And charm of beauty

And image of perfection

وطالِعَ الإقبالِ

وعارِضَ الإِفضالِ

And rising of fortune

And appearance of generosity

وآفةَ الأموالِ

بدرَ بني ميكالِ

And bane of wealth

Full moon of Bani Mikal

كم لكَ من مقالِ

أصفى من الزلالِ

How much praise you have

Purer than fresh water

أحلى من السَّلْسالِ

أبهى من اللآلي

Sweeter than necklaces

More splendid than rubies

أزكى من الغوالي

أمضى من العوالي

Holier than treasures

Truer than promises

أقضى من النصالِ

أضوا من الهلالِ

More decisive than swords

Brighter than the crescent moon

أسرى من الخيالِ

أبقى من الجبالِ

More enchanting than dreams

More enduring than mountains

فاسلم على الليالي

ودم بخير حالِ

So greet the nights

And stay in good state
