ويومٍ غذاءُ الجسمِ فيه محرَّمٌ

ولكنْ غذاءُ الروحِ فيهِ محلَّلْ

فهلْ لكَ في غيمٍ من النِّدِّ منشأً

يظلُّ بماءِ الوردِ عنديَ يهطِلُ

لهُ عبقٌ كالعرفِ منكَ نسيمُهُ

وخلقُكَ أذكى منهُ نشراً وأجملُ

Its breeze has a fragrance like basil
