1. ايّامَنا وليالي لهونَا عُودي

    بين المُدامِ وربات الأغاريدِ

    Our days and nights of pleasure have returned

    Between wine and singers with joyful tunes

  2. لقد دَنا الفطر بالبشرى يخبّرنا

    عمّا يكون لنا من بهجة العيدِ

    Eid is near, bringing good news

    Of the delights this blessed holiday will bring

  3. عيدٌ يعود علينا رفاهية

    بطالعٍ حسنِ الإِقبال مَسعودِ

    A holiday returning prosperity

    With auspicious omens of good fortune

  4. حتى نعلِّل منّا أنفساً ظمئت

    إلى المعتَّق من ماءِ العناقيدِ

    So we may quench souls thirsty

    For the freed nectar of grape clusters

  5. بقهوةٍ من سُلاف الكرم صافيةٍ

    كأنها سُفحت من عرق مَفْصودِ

    With clear coffee from generous vines

    As if poured from pressed sweat

  6. ومجلسٍ حسنِ جمٍّ طرائِقهُ

    بالأنس واللَّهو والندمان مشهودِ

    And a fine gathering full

    Of companionship, joy, and renowned hospitality

  7. وقينةٍ كقضيب البان تُسْمعنا

    حُسن الغناءِ بإِفصاح وتَجويدِ

    And a lute whose beautiful singing

    Articulates with eloquence and rhythm

  8. وفتيةٍ وقَتوا في الشَّرب ما عرفوا

    شتَم النديم ولا خُلفَ المواعيدِ

    And youth who in drinking have known

    No insult to a friend or missed deadlines

  9. نُسقَى بأيمان ولدان ذوي مُلَحٍ

    مُهذَّبين طٍرافٍ كالأماليدِ

    We are served by charming boys, graceful

    As gazelles, with oaths and wit

  10. وبالفواكه أَلواناً تقابلنا

    عند الولائِد من بيضٍ ومن سودِ

    And fruits of many colors meeting us

    Among newborns white and black

  11. نُضحي ونمسي نشاوى في بُلهنية

    وبردِ ظلٍ من السَّمراء ممدودِ

    We feast and spend nights happy under shade, stretched out

    Its coolness from a dark-haired beauty

  12. والعيد بهجتُه عندي وزينتُه

    بسيّدٍ من بني نبهان محمودِ

    And Eid's joy for me and adornment

    Is my lord of glorious Bani Nahyan descent

  13. له مساعٍ وأخلاق يمانيةٌ

    وراحة خلقت من طينة الجودِ

    With qualities and manners truly Yemeni

    And a spirit created from the clay of generosity

  14. يسمو بفضل سَجيّات تقيلّها

    من العتيك الكرامِ السّادة الصّيدِ

    He rises with virtues weighed down

    By the glorious chiefs, the generous hunters
