The sighs of a grieving heart must be let out

So beware the dangers of pent-up hurt

The world has forgotten its raids

Unlike the raids of chivalrous poetry

The cooing of doves has overburdened me

More beautiful than the cooing of musk-scented birds

A breeze gentler than the morning zephyr

Bringing the scent of roses from a garden

    After her radiance opened up

She smiled like flowers in bloom

And my thoughts toiled through the night besotted

Traced with the carvings of gold coins

O thief of heedlessness, what have they composed

    Of rhymes and fame's admirers?

Give sorrow's lament a rest, for it has

Spent the night in a heart filled with dread
