I was turned away from you, and so felt estrangement,
You turned me from you, so I felt abandonment
By traits in you with which I am not pleased,
There is something wrong with you, I'm not pleased with it
And by the fact that, whenever you are entrusted with a secret,
And whenever you're entrusted with a secret
You are more of a talebearer than the breeze over the gardens.
I sleep more soundly than the breeze upon the gardens
