I have a dwelling like a spiny-tailed lizard's burrow, where I lodge.
I have a house like the burrow of a hyena
Cramped—its two sides have drawn close, and both have narrowed.
Narrow, its walls have closed in on each other
I see it as a mold for my body when I enter it,
I see it conform to my body when I enter
So I can stretch neither leg nor shin within it.
Not stretching out an arm or leg
So I do not count it a bounty that delights me;
I don't consider it a provision to rejoice in
And are people's prisons counted as bounties?
Can the prisons of people be considered provisions?
I implore the rain always to pass over it,
I call upon the rain to never pass by it
And the flash of lightning to engulf it in flame.
And the dazzling lightning to burn it down
