Tell the glorious prince,
Say to the noble prince, lofty among his peers,
exalted above his peers,
And who raised nations to the heights through his pride and glory,
who scales the heights of glory
And who rules firmly with his resolve,
through his renown and high honor,
Like a sword when unsheathed,
and acts by his resolve alone,
That the generous, when he builds,
like a sword when it cuts:
Does not intend the demolition of his building,
Indeed, when a generous man builds,
And when he bestows a kindness,
he does not intend to demolish his building.
It endures through the length of his existence,
And when he bestows a favor,
And when he reaps the fruits of success,
it endures as long as he lives.
He waters it from his rivers,
And when he harvests the fruit of praise,
I am his plant, and plants grow
he waters it with his rains.
If they are not deprived of their water,
I am his plant, and a plant
O best of hopes, to whom the hopeful cling,
withers if it lacks his water.
Seeking refuge from his demise,
O best of those in whom one hopes,
Has clothed in the garb of virtue,
in whose courtyard a hopeful man seeks refuge!
So turn the course of his era,
This is your loyal friend, who has been clothed
And dress him in new praise.
by Time in the garment of his decay.
So turn aside the reversals of his days,
and wear the fresh garment of his praise.
